Gulf Coast Wesley considers itself to be in mission all the time. From our weekly gatherings, to coffee on campus, to traveling abroad — Wesley’s goal is not to “do” missions, but be in mission. Wherever we are, whatever we are up to — our aim is to do it for God.
Gulf Coast Wesley partners with several missional organizations and has done work in areas around the globe and locally. On the Global front, we have led mission trips to Zimbabwe, Africa, Cuba and CAT island, Bahamas. Through these programs, young adults share in ministry with their peers in other locations — serving side by side and learning from one another. Gulf Coast Wesley knows the difference we can make when we invest in the lives of others. In the process, we realize it makes an enormous difference in each of us as well!
Wesley also offers numerous ways to serve our community locally. Examples of this range from creating blankets for the children and youth at the United Methodist Children’s Home, collecting and assembling hurricane relief supplies through our Flood Bucket Challenge, serving as after school tutors, weeding in our local community garden, or workdays at a nearby United Methodist campground. Gulf Coast Wesley invites people to change the world, one act of service at a time.
Please let us know if you are interested in connecting with Gulf Coast Wesley, for missions or service. We look forward to hearing from you!
